Blessings to you all.
I want to talk about casting spells on people without them knowing. I am not talking to those who are doing work on behalf of others.
I am talking about casting spells on family members with out their knowledge or consent.
I have been struggling with this for a long time. If any one personally knows me I do not want anyone to be in any kind of problems.
The problem I am grappling with is my own. Should I cast a spell to bring family members together and heal old wounds?
Example you go to a family reunion and part of the family does not show because of “bad blood” between them. When you find out what it is, you can not believe your ears. Why? Because the bad blood could be an argument that happened ten years ago over a misunderstanding. No one wants to cave in.
Sister against sister, brother against brother, Mother against Son/Daughter.
So should a person cast a spell to get the family back in harmony? I feel yes, if you waited long enough to see if the resolve the problem on their own. Yes if you see this division is beating them up inside.
So that is my take on it I would love to hear yours.
Sweet Blessings to you all.
As long as your intentions are good and pure, I see nothing wrong with it. 🙂 Happy Summer Solstice and enjoy the Strawberry Moon, tonight!

I have been trying to subtly get this resolve. But I am dealing with a load of fire signs. It has gotten to the point the the children are saying this is nonsence. Thank you for your advice. Blessed Be.

I actually just covered this in one of my posts on spellcasting, where I talked about ethics…
I don’t know the situation with your family, but I know the vast majority of mine is Christian, and would want no part in my practice. They accept me for who I am, but don’t agree with my practice. Therefore, I leave them out of it out of respect.
That being said, it’s always difficult to determine whether or not to cast a spell without someone’s knowledge. But I also feel that we should do everything we can normally first, such as talking to people, trying to communicate with them. Perhaps, rather than just doing a spell to get the family back together, do one to help you find a way to do so, specfically? That takes care of the ethics part of it, since you’re not casting a spell on them at all.
And when it comes down to it, decide whether you’d be hurting them more by doing something behind their back or by idly sitting by while things fall apart. Sometimes you just have to weigh the consequences.
Hopefully this helps.
Blessings,
Aithne
